Acne Treatment
Usually, acne is caused by the dead skin cells clogging your pores, the sebaceous gland producing excessive oil in the follicles, and/or bacteria build-up in the pores causing inflammation and break-outs. It is also important to consider other factors such as hormones, stress, genetics, allergies, a diet that may contribute to the severity. Studies have proven that laser treatments can significantly reduce acne, nevertheless, It is highly recommended to consult a medical provider. Laser treatment results are individual and may vary.
Skin Tag/Warts Removal
Warts and skin tags are numbed prior to the procedure and gradually worked on to flatten using disposable needles , and manually operated, hand-held device for the precision.
The treated skin surface (only skin tag area) may darken and eventually the scab will fall off. We recommend to use Vaseline to keep the area moisturized and yet protected from rough disposal of the scabs, especially if multiple skin tags are treated in the same area.
Spider Vein Treatment
This is a quick and effective, non-invasive procedure using a focused beam of light to address broken capillaries on your body that are usually thin, linear blood vessels (either red or blue color) and are often referred to as spider veins. The most common areas are thighs, ankles, calves, and sometimes the face. As it is a non-invasive procedure there is no downtime, however, some swelling or redness may occur. During the procedure itself, patients may have a slightly uncomfortable sensation (e.g. equal to a rubber band snap) and more than one procedure may be required as the individual results vary. This procedure should not be mistaken for the varicose vein treatment or Sclerotherapy, which is performed at a medical facility only and may include injections.
Treatment of Pigmented Lesions
Aging and sun exposure are common drivers for spotted skin pigments. Our top-grade equipment is suitable to perform a cosmetic procedure of removing benign and superficial (epidermal) pigmented lesions such as freckles, blemishes, sun-damaged and age spots. We do not treat moles and highly advise you to seek a medical provider's opinion and attention in such a case. Patients with melasma may not be suitable candidates for cosmetic laser treatment as thermal exposure can worsen the pigmentation, therefore we advise you to seek specialized treatment with your medical providers.
